Gourmet Airfare Detroit is taking a number of actions to protect the health and well-being of our employees, partners and customers and to control the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in accordance with the expert guidance of the CDC, Michigan guildelines and local public health authorities. Read below for an at-a-glance overview.

Our New Way To Operate

Gourmet Airfare production facilities and staff members will operate under a new standard of Health & Safety to ensure the safety and security of our Teams, Clients & Partners. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a global concern with a significant presence in the U.S. and the safety of our clients, partners, you and your family is our first priority.

  • Enhanced cleaning measures: Gourmet Airfare Detroit is committed to caring for the health and well-being of its employees and customers and playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders. Gourmet Airfaire Detroit meets or exceeds public health guidelines in cleanliness to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
  • Additional precautions: Gourmet Airfare Detroit is also taking precautio­­ns for every employee in our kitchen to protect them and our customers. Prior to beginning every shift, all employees take their temperature to ensure they are ready and able to work. Employees – kitchen and delivery partners – are required to wear facial coverings during their shifts, have an option to wear gloves and continue to frequently wash their hands and clean and sanitize their work stations.
  • Safety Protocols: During deliveries, our employees follow social distancing and safety protocols recommended by public health officials, including wearing a facial covering during deliveries to FBOs. It is our responsibility to protect our employees and comply with local public health mandates.  As such, our employees have the right and responsibility to refuse to deliver to customers who are not wearing facial coverings where mandated by law.  
  • Contactless Delivery: Deliveries during COVID-19 will not require signatures, and orders can be left at the FBO door, appointed table/counter or aircraft, as long as no other person is within 2 meters of the drop off point.
